WILD PEACE SANCTUARY
EQUINE WISDOM
We engage the natural wisdom of our resident equines to support healing for individuals and groups, and bring a unique approach to our work that allows our animals full freedom and choice and does not require the use of any force, pressure, coercion, or persuasion to be effective. Our work is ground-based, meaning that there is no riding involved, which allows our animals to act naturally, intuitively, authentically, and spontaneously.
Working with the wisdom of equines means discovering and engaging their ability to communicate on a somatic level, teaching us how to stay present to and in resonance with our emotional experience in an embodied way. By offering honest feedback through their natural responses that reflects back what we are feeling inside, they have the power to support significant personal insights into our emotions and relationships. Equine wisdom healing work can be effective in working with a range of challenges, including PTSD, addiction, relational conflict, boundary issues, behavioral difficulties, depression, anxiety, and trauma. The non-verbal, somatically-based nature of this work makes it particularly effective for people who find traditional talk therapy unhelpful.

Led by their innate instincts, all equines have a deep and natural ability to see beyond the masks we wear and reach straight into the heart and soul of who we really are. This means that, in their presence, we do not have to hide who we are but can risk being seen for our true selves. Explore the wisdom and power of equines and experience the transformative benefits of working with these amazing natural-born healers. Please contact us for more information or to schedule a free consultation to discuss your needs. “Horses are incredibly sensitive creatures. They can read human body language and emotions with an accuracy that is truly amazing.”
