Working with Nettle

Learn some ways of working with Nettle as an ancient fiber plant with local land steward, Zeph Mullins. Learn when, where, and how to harvest and process stinging nettles for fiber, food and medicine, learn about some of the mythology of nettle, and deepen your relationship with the spirit of this special edible and medicinal plant.
Traditional Haymaking

Join artist, teacher, author, and scythe mower, Kiko Denzer, and a team of mowers, for a hands-on demonstration on how to mow a meadow with traditional scythes for a regenerative, ecologically sustainable method of haymaking. We will be out in the field at first light learning how to scythe, and setting tools down around lunchtime.
Healing with Equines

Join Wild Peace Sanctuary founder, Lara Lwin Treadaway in the field with the Wild Peace herd and experience the sense of joy and wonder that comes from communing with these animals. Learn some simple somatic practices to come into deep attunement with these natural healers and enter into a space of reciprocal care and respect.
